We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kids loved exploring Penzance, especially visiting the Acorn Theatre for a fun family show. The cozy atmosphere added to our experience.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly menu options.

We booked a budget king room, it was incredibly comfortable. The staff helped us and were affable and courteous. The hotel was in an excellent and great location near to restaurant and Penzance.

The venue is budget, food is appetising, marvellous location in the middle of jackson. Nice and very welcoming people are working. This hotel offers lovely and clean rooms with very comfortable bed and furniture seemingly haphazardly placed, for instance. A comfortable bar does the trick. I loved the cozy atmosphere with two log burners inside the bar area, perfect for a chilly day. The homemade breakfast was a good treat, cooked to order and included in the price. It was fantastic that my dog was welcome everywhere in the downstairs areas.

Positive, After 42 years, it was like a charming throwback with a fantastic makeover! The room was spacious and had an awesome shower. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Portabella mushrooms with scrambled egg. The staff were really good too ensure we had a packed breakfast for our early trip.

Outdoor seating areas, unique architectural charm, campsite with amenities

The room layout felt cluttered, and the décor is in desperate need of modernization!!! A bit of attention to hygiene regarding cleanliness would also be a welcome improvement!!!

The food was delicious, especially the steak with a lovely salad. The noise from the kitchen was disruptive at night.

Loved the cozy atmosphere and how dog-friendly everything was! The enclosed beer garden was a bonus for my pup.

The beds were super comfy, and it was great having our little dog welcomed everywhere. We loved hanging out in the cozy garden and catching a game in the lounge area. The only downside was that there was no hot water one morning, but overall, it was a lovely stay! 🐾

The Budget Double Room was super comfy, and the bed was just perfect for a good night's sleep. Everything was really clean, and the ensuite bathroom felt quite new, a nice touch. I liked the countryside view too! Even though we had a wedding to get to and check-in was late, the staff let us in early, a lifesaver. The breakfast was tasty, but the service was a tad slow-it could've been quickened up a bit.

The homemade breakfast was a delight, and it was wonderful that my dog was welcome in all downstairs areas, including the enclosed beer garden where she could roam freely. I wish there were more options for lighter breakfasts, like fruit or yogurt, to complement the hearty offerings.
